Great Lakes Wreck Diving
Some of the Great Lakes' best wreck diving is on our doorstep and we have our own charter boat based in the Sanilac Shores Underwater Preserve - The Great Lakes Diver; she is a custom built, Coast Guard certified vessel capable of comfortably carrying 16 divers.
She is docked in Port Sanilac Marina between April and October and is available for students, individual certified divers and groups, as well as dive instructors from other stores and their students.
The Sanilac Shores Underwater Preserve conatins a number of fascinating historical shipwrecks between 20' and 120' in depth which present fine diving opportunities for open water students and beginner wreck divers through to seasoned pros.
We conduct two 2-tank trips on Saturdays throughout the season, with the 8am trip visiting deeper wrecks and the 2pm trip visiting shallower wrecks. Our 3-tank Sunday trips depart at 9am and take in a cross section of wrecks for all abilities.
Prices start at $95 for a 2-tank dive and we have specials available for repeat divers, groups, full-boat charters, as well as for our students and dive instructors from other shops with their students.
