The Great Lakes Diver is a 33 foot custom built, aluminum, twin engine, US Coast Guard certified charter vessel. She will comfortably carry up to 16 divers to any of the hundreds of ship wrecks in Michigan's Great Lakes. Equipped with a fully enclosed cabin to protect you from the elements, a private head, spacious dive platform, walk-through transom, twin 260hp OMC Cobra stern drives and ample seating, she is the ultimate in comfort and convenience for wreck divers keen to explore the coastal areas of Michigan that have been designated as underwater preserves.

Beginner divers and those taking some continuing education courses with Bruno's Dive Shop may conduct their check out dives at Monroe Quarry but this is really just a training ground and a means to an end as Michigan and its Great Lakes are a wreck diver's dream...

One hundred years ago, the inland waterway of these Great Lakes provided the most dangerous shipping waters in the world. Sudden storms, fog, heavy traffic and steamship companies demanding captains to stay on schedule no matter what the weather, resulted in the destruction of thousands of schooners, steamers and barges. The Great Lakes bottomland is littered with these time capsules from the time when our nation began to emerge into the world power it is today. These shipwrecks, artifacts, and natural features attract skin and scuba divers from across the United States. They come to explore and observe how the cold, fresh water of the Great Lakes preserves history."
